About this blog
Since June 2011 KpVV (the Dutch Knowledge Platform for Mobility and Transport) is blogging about changing travel behaviour. How does this work? Is it effective? How to change the travel behaviour of a certain target group? How to develop campaigns? How does the public discover the benefits of a new bus line of a bike parking facility?
A huge amount of theory and psychological knowledge is available on the topic. There's also are many interesting cases in the Netherlands and other countries. This blog gives access to this theoretical and practical knowledge for the mobility sector, by presenting articles, videos, pictures and summaries of interesting publications. KpVV wants to inspire people and show that behaviour change is a useful subject, if we approach it in the right way.
This blog is in Dutch. However it's easy to translate with help of Google Translate. This is just one click away from you, as we added a Google Translate button in the right column of each article.
About the authors
This blog started in 2011. Initially, Friso Metz from KpVV published articles with support of behavioural psychologist Gerard Tertoolen from XTNT. Since the interest in behaviour change continues to grow, more experts are being invited to provide interesting content. Therefore we decided to transform this blog in a multi-author blog in which people working in the field can share their experiences and points of view. This blog is an independent platform.
About KpVV
KpVV provides local and regional governments with knowledge about transport policies. KpVV focuses on current and future customer demands after knowledge.
